Meet Our Team
Renee’ Long is the proud owner of Urban Nature Spa & Salon. With over 29 years experience, she is certified as a Goldwell Color Specialist, and has received extensive training in cutting, texturing, and styling techniques through Goldwell, Surface, and KMS. In 2007, Renee’ became Watertown’s first Certified Master Pedicurist, and has completed her certification in Infection Control with the North American Pedicure Association. She has become an Eminence skin care specialist receiving her training with Eminence skin cares' president, Boldigarre Koronczay. She is also a certified Derma plane Pro specialist. An Air Force veteran, and military wife, Renee’ understands the challenges faced by our North Country friends and families. Her commitment to excellence in customer service is what makes her dedicated to her craft and community driven.
Dr. Kiri Brandy MD. has been Urban Nature's Physician since 2013. She is a practicing general surgeon at Claxton Hepburn Hospital in Ogdensburg, New York and River Hospital in Alexandria Bay. She has been practicing in the North Country since completing her surgical residency at SUNY Upstate in Syracuse, New York in 2008. After residency she joined St Lawrence Surgery and is one of four general surgeons who specializes mainly in breast surgery, minimally invasive vein surgery and endoscopy. Her aesthetic focus began a few years into her career, adding procedures such a Botox and dermal fillers, micro-needling, laser and injections for venous disease and founded St Lawrence Aesthetics. She also has a newly opened facility in Potsdamn called Medi Spa at St Lawrence Surgery.
Sarah Vasquez is one of Urban Nature’s licensed massage therapists. She graduated from Onondaga School of Therapeutic Massage in 2013 were she became proficient in a variety of techniques, including; Swedish, chair and pregnancy massage. She has gone on to study techniques in deep tissue, myofascial release, trigger point therapy and is certified in kinesiology taping and myofascial cupping. She uses a variety of techniques to melt away your stress and help you relax. Her other specialty massages include working with hot stones as well as aromatherapy, and is also a level 2 reiki practitioner. Sarah believes in the importance of self-care, to reduce the negative effects of stress and to help you be the best you in all aspects of your life.
Nicole Bush is one of Urban Natures' nail technicians. She graduated from Boces Technical Center in June, 2012 with her license in Cosmetology. She specializes in manicures, pedicures and is extremely creative in customizing nail art for her guests. Nicole also has a flair for make-up and performs custom applications using our Motives make-up line. She believes in giving guests a professional experience, in a pampered, relaxing atmosphere.
